Treadstone Equipment Ltd. is a family-owned and operated business that specializes in buying and selling equipment, placer gold mining, fabrication and commercial trucking. The McCaughans have operated their companies for over three decades in western Canada and the Yukon Territories.

The McCaughans and their team can be found leaving Alberta in April to convoy 36 hours to the Dawson City area to mine for another season in hopes of finding the 'Mother Lode'  and another world discovery such as 'Nun Cho Ga' .

After the mining season, the Treadstone Team heads back south to Alberta to focus on buying & marketing their equipment inventory, fabricating custom mining equipment and preparing for their next season.
